Last week I took Madison to the store. She squeals and said "Carrots! Mom can I have these carrots... Please!"
You would've thought she had to pee she was so excited. I thought nothing of it until I realized everyone in the produce section was staring at us like she just screamed bomb or something. The lady next to us was gaping at her almost open mouthed. She said what a relief it is to hear a small child ask for carrots rather than candy. I suppose I am used to the way we eat. Of course at that point I couldn't say no.
