Christmas Ideas

yes... I am the crazy Xmas shopper who starts planning prior to Labor Day weekend.

Usually I am done shopping by October but something tells me this year is going to be a lot more hectic with everything happening so I thought I would start a list.

Jewelry box - to store all Madison's necklaces

Full length mirror - something for Madison's room to stand alone or hang in the wall.

Necklace - a necklace with possibly matching bracelet for her jewelry box

Shoes - Sketchers light up shoes (currently wearing a size 12 which is likely to change in the next month or two)

Nail Polish - Madison loves having her nails painted

Dance - leotard and tutu dress in pink with footless tights (size intermediate) long sheer wrap type

Accessories - Madison loves purses, scarves, Jewelry such as bracelets necklaces rings and sunglasses, also hair bows clips and headbands

knitting projects - fairy village to complete with tulip purse

Crochet Projects - blanket for bed, strawberry tea pot set, 1 character hat (Minnie mouse?), knitted gloves

Looks like I will be busy. I am glad I decided to start with some ideas early.

Mommy's Flowers

Madison helped dad pick out flowers for me.

Teddy Bear week

Madison had bear week at school. Today she was told to bring her special teddy bear to spend the day with her at school. This is what she made.

Madison is now taking Fairytales and Tutus Ballet. Each week they learn a new pose followed by a story and then get to dress up as the character.

Today it was LalaLoopsy. Madison I the third one from the left.

Carrots Please

Last week I took Madison to the store. She squeals and said "Carrots! Mom can I have these carrots... Please!"

You would've thought she had to pee she was so excited. I thought nothing of it until I realized everyone in the produce section was staring at us like she just screamed bomb or something. The lady next to us was gaping at her almost open mouthed. She said what a relief it is to hear a small child ask for carrots rather than candy. I suppose I am used to the way we eat. Of course at that point I couldn't say no.

Arts and Crafts

This last week Madison was having some serious bloody noses. We took a day to go to a ENT. I wasn't very impressed with him or his office.

At least we got to spend some time doing something fun. Madison loves arts and crafts especially panting. She was making a rainbow house.

Swings

Seems like only a few days ago she was terrified of these. Now she wants to go as high as they can reach. It's amazing how fast she is growing.

Butterflies

My sister and mother took her to a butterfly exhibit. She came back with a butterfly necklace holder and bughouse. Nana bought her some animal squinkies to go inside the house with cut up pieces of green paper. She is very proud of them.

She had a blast. My sister's soon to be mother in law bought her a pink blow up pool toy which also had a blue one. Madison said "I dont want the blue one but can I take it for my brother for when hes older?" Everyone went "ahhhhhh".

She is the sweetest girl and Im so grateful she love love loves her brother.

Plane Trip

It's been awhile since we have posted. In the last year I think I've realized how much she is growing up and I think the transition happened from small toddler to actual little girl in the last year.

Just in length alone she's practically doubled in size. She's somehow gotten skinnier and her clothes just slide down her stick figure.

She is going into Pre-K in 1 week. This weekend was the first time she'd traveled without mom. She went with Nana to see my sister for the weekend. They of course had a blast. I think it was much needed for her as she has been having a difficult time adjusting to brother.

She came into the house and said "Why is it so clean in here? You know mom you should sleep when it's night time. How'd you get all this work done?"

I guess I got a little OCD while she was away. I didn't realize how much of my attention she requires until she wasn't here. I went extreme OCD on everything.
