face and she doesn't understand what's happening to her. She woke at
4am crying because obviously she's miserable. Poor thing. No idea when
it's the point you take them to the doctor as every time we go they
say it's either a virus or the underlying problem we've been dealing
with.
Maybe a cold, but when does a cold turn bad?

ReplyDeleteB had her very first cold earlier this month (it's heartbreaking!). I took her to the pediatrician once a week for 3 weeks to make sure it didn't go to her chest or ears. It was 3 weeks worth of runny nose and watery eyes (never any cough). Sure enough, 1 day shy of being sick for 3 weeks (poor baby!) both ears were a little pink inside. So we started antibiotic that very day. Was on it for 10 days and I could already see improvement in 2 days. 10 days later and she was 100%. I hate antibiotics but the risk of an ear infection or a cold turning into bronchitis turning into pneumonia was even scarier.
